The Apostolic Church of Las Vegas was founded by Bro. Dallas Mefford in 1962, who had a vision of a "Lighthouse in the Desert". Early services were held in the basement of their home. Ground was broken in 1967 at the present location of 1665 Lindell Rd. Solid preaching of the Apostle's Doctrine laid the beginning foundation for the fledgling congregation in the basement, for those in the "Little Blue Building" and to all of us now in the present sanctuary. In 1996, Bro. Mefford laid the mantle of Pastorship on the shoulders of Bro. Stoltzfus in an anointed exchange of leadership. The foundation stands firm as Bro. Stoltzfus continues to build on a structure "fitly framed together".... A Light in a dark place.
